Downtown shuttles will be available at the Independence Visitor Center which is located at 6th & Market Streets.
For your convenience, there is underground parking adjacent to the building. However, if you need to find another location nearby, try some of these parking facilities:
Central Parking Auto Park at Independence Mall
6th Street between Market & Arch Streets. Entrances on 6th Street and on 5th Street, you are able to enter The Visitor Center without leaving the building by using elevator inside the Parking facility to the Main floor.
Central Parking System
On Market Street between 8th and 9th Streets. Enter on 8th Street to Park. Leaving from 8th Street turn left to Market Street. Make a right on Market Street and continue walking East to 6th Street.
Parkway Parking
On the East side of 8th Street at Ranstead Street. Walk right (North) on 8th Street to Market Street. Right on Market Street to 6th Street.
Five Star Parking
On 8th and Chestnut Streets. Enter to park on 8th Street or on Chestnut Street. Exiting the building on 8th Street, walk to the right to Market Street. On Market Street walk to the right and continue for two blocks to 6th Street.
Parking Plaza-Quaker City Auto
On 8th and Filbert Streets. Exit parking facility on Arch Street. Walk East (to the left) on Arch Street to 6th Street. Walk South on 6th Street (to the right).
Five Star Parking
Between 6th & 7th Streets on Market Streets (Closed Sunday). Exit building onto 7th Street Make right to corner which is Market Street. Walk right on Market Street to 6th Street.
Harry Cash Parking
On 7th and Cherry Streets. Walk right on 7th Street to Arch Street. Left on Arch Street to 6th Street. Right on 6th Street.
Bourse Parking
Between 4th and Ranstead Street. Exit left onto 4th Street to Market Street. Make a left on Market Street to 5th Street. Follow diagonal brick walk to the Independence Visitor Center.
If You Must Drive...
Please note that illegally parked vehicles on and around the Festival grounds will be ticketed and relocated.
Driving Directions to the Festival
From Broad Street:
- Take Broad Street North to Nedro Avenue
- Turn right at Nedro Avenue and follow to 11th Street (SEPTA’s Fern Rock Transportation Center)
- Park in SEPTA’s lot and take FREE Shuttle to Festival Grounds
From Northeast Philadelphia:
- Take Roosevelt Boulevard (Rte. 1 South), which becomes the Roosevelt Expressway, to the Broad Street exit
- Turn right onto Broad Street
- Follow directions for Broad Street route (above)
From I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway):
- Follow 76 West to Roosevelt Boulevard (Rte. 1)
- Take the Broad Street exit and make a left onto Broad Street
- Follow directions for Broad Street route (above)
From I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway):
- Follow 76 East to Roosevelt Boulevard (Rte. 1)
- Take the Broad Street exit and make a left onto Broad Street
- Follow directions for Broad Street route (above)
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike East:
- Take the Fort Washington exit 339
- Proceed straight ahead from toll booth to Commerce Drive
- Turn right onto Commerce and stay in the right lane
- Follow Commerce Drive to Delaware Drive, then Delaware Drive to Virginia Drive
- Turn right onto Virginia Drive
- Follow signs to 1140 Virginia Drive into lot, then follow signs to upper decks in rear

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike West:
- Follow turnpike to Fort Washington exit and follow directions for PA Turnpike East above
OR
- Take EZ-PASS exit at Virginia Drive (MOTORISTS USING THIS EXIT WITHOUT E-ZPASS WILL INCUR A VIOLATION)
- Turn left at light onto Virginia Drive and follow signs to 1140 Virginia Drive into lot
- Follow signs to upper decks in rear

From southern New Jersey via the Walt Whitman Bridge:
- Follow signs from your area to the WW Bridge
- Cross bridge and follow signs for Rt. 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway)

From southern New Jersey via the Ben Franklin Bridge:
- Follow signs from your area to the BF Bridge
- Cross bridge and follow follow signs to Route 676 West to Route 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway)

From northern New Jersey:
- Take the New Jersey Turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike exit (#6)
